Game plan
Amelia Earhart leads the Emerald deck, built on evasion and tempo. Her passive gives every Adventurer and Pilot you control Explore, so they can only be blocked by characters that also have Explore. Against most decks, that means your attackers reach the enemy Leader almost every time.
Her second line is a Charge trigger: when her Leader charges, you draw a card if you control two or more characters with Explore. The plan is to put two or three cheap explorers on the field early, charge with everything, and keep your hand full while you do it.
Her Command, Across the Atlantic (3 crystals), refreshes all of your characters with Explore and gives them +1/+0 for the turn. Charge first, then call it: your explorers stand back up and charge again, which can take two Life cards in a single turn.
Her three Signature cards cost 1 less under her. Amelia Earhart, Adventurer is a 2/3 with Explore that draws a card when she arrives. Amelia Earhart, Vehicle Junkie is a Pilot with Explore who searches your deck for a Vehicle. Cockpit is a Location that gives your Pilots +1/+1, and it costs nothing under her.
Earhart wins races. Keep your attackers moving, and keep a crystal or two for Counters on the turns you can't afford to lose a key explorer.
Strengths
- All of your Adventurers and Pilots have Explore, so most of your attackers fly over blockers.
- Charging with her Leader draws a card when you have two or more Explore characters.
- Across the Atlantic refreshes your Explore characters so they can charge again in the same turn.
Weaknesses
- Many of her characters are small, so effects that damage every enemy character hurt.
- Rivals who field their own Explore characters can block your flyers.

The real Amelia Earhart
Amelia Earhart (1897 to 1937) was a pioneering aviator and a tireless advocate for women in aviation. On May 20 and 21, 1932, she became the first woman to fly nonstop and alone across the Atlantic, taking off in a red Lockheed Vega from Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, and landing in a pasture near Londonderry (Derry), Northern Ireland, after battling ice, a broken altimeter and a fuel leak. The Vega is now in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
In July 1937, attempting to fly around the world, she and navigator Fred Noonan disappeared over the Pacific near Howland Island. Their fate remains unknown.
